The Event Planner role at American Dining Creations, based in Columbia, SC, is a dynamic position that plays a key part in the successful execution of various events within the company’s operations. This role involves comprehensive responsibilities ranging from event planning, design, and production, all within specified time limits, to liaising closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and that customer satisfaction is achieved. The Event Planner will conduct market research, gather critical information, and negotiate contracts before finalizing any deals, ensuring that every event is profitable and aligned with client expectations.
The Event Planner will also be responsible for providing ongoing feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and effective communication within the company’s event management processes. This role requires organizing all details related to the event such as décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, and promotional materials. Coordinating staff requirements and managing their activities are essential duties to ensure smooth event operations. Additionally, the Event Planner will work closely with marketing and public relations teams to promote and publicize events, leveraging market insights to identify new event opportunities and generate interest.
