The role of Director of Architecture - Restaurants within the Architecture and Engineering business unit at Core States Group is both challenging and impactful. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing all activities and personnel related to the architecture program specifically focused on the Restaurants market. The Director will play a pivotal role in strategic business development, sales forecasting, and financial management to drive growth and operational excellence within this specialized sector. Collaboration with other business unit directors and teams is essential to managing multidiscipline programs and delivering cohesive results across various projects. Additionally, this role requires a strong focus on mentoring and developing architectural staff, ensuring the team is motivated and equipped to meet rigorous client expectations and project deadlines. As a hybrid position, it offers flexibility with a combination of remote and office work, with up to 35 percent travel locally and nationally to engage with clients and teams. Job Requirements

- 10+ years of architecture project and/or program management experience
- 10+ years of experience managing staff
- ability to travel up to 35% locally and nationally

Job Duties
- participate in business development including attendance at marketing functions, business dinners, and events
- serve as the lead point of contact for clients
- prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants
- manage project architects, designers, project and program managers
- ensure communication of timelines to clients
- perform efficiency and profit evaluations and manage financial aspects of programs
- manage multiple programs simultaneously
- coordinate with other directors on multidiscipline programs
- develop, mentor and promote staff
- perform other duties as required
