Job Description

Shop LC is a prominent electronic retailer specializing in jewelry and lifestyle products, headquartered in Austin, Texas. The company boasts a dedicated team of approximately 450 employees committed to delivering exceptional products and services. Shop LC operates across multiple platforms including cable, satellite, Telcos, over-the-air (OTA) broadcasters, an e-commerce website, OTT services, various marketplaces, and social media channels. As the United States retailing subsidiary of Vaibhav Global Limited (VGL), a publicly listed company in India, Shop LC is an integral part of a global retail network that includes Shop TJC in the United Kingdom and Shop LC Germany. The VGL Group is a vertical business with its own manufacturing and sourcing facilities across India, China, Indonesia, and Thailand, which allows it to maintain control over quality and supply chain logistics.

The company is deeply committed to social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Through its Your Purchase Feeds... program, each item sold results in a nutritious meal donated to a school-going child in the United States, India, the UK, and Germany. To date, this ambitious program has provided over 50 million meals and continues to aim for distributing one million meals to children in need every school day by 2040. Moreover, Shop LC consistently works towards reducing its carbon footprint with goals to become net zero by 2030. Their Indian manufacturing facilities operate entirely on solar power and have achieved Platinum-level LEEDS certification. Similarly, their U.S. facilities proudly hold Gold-level LEEDS certification.

The role of Director of Affiliate Relations at Shop LC is critical to expanding and managing the company’s distribution footprint nationwide. This leadership position focuses on overseeing carriage agreements with cable, satellite, and OTA broadcast affiliates, ensuring maximum market reach and audience engagement through strategic negotiation and relationship building. This position requires a forward-thinking individual who can manage complex affiliate networks while maintaining compliance with contractual and broadcast standards.

As a key member of the team, the Director of Affiliate Relations will lead and mentor a talented staff, promoting professional development and ensuring the successful execution of affiliate strategies. Responsibilities also include attending industry events and conferences to represent Shop LC, staying abreast of the latest broadcast regulations and industry trends, and leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.
