Job Description
Continuum Healthcare is a leading provider in the healthcare community, dedicated to delivering exceptional care services across various levels including Skilled Nursing, Sub-Acute Rehabilitation (SAR), and Assisted Living. Known for its commitment to quality and innovation, Continuum Healthcare strives to create an environment where residents receive personalized, compassionate, and comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs. The organization emphasizes the importance of community involvement, strong partnerships with healthcare providers, and adherence to stringent industry standards to enhance the overall resident experience and health outcomes.
The Director of Admissions & Marketing at Continuum Healthcare plays a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of the community by managing all facets of admissions, business development, marketing, and community outreach. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker and an effective communicator who will oversee the entire admissions process from referral to move-in, cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with hospitals, physicians, referral sources, residents, families, and community organizations. Working closely with the Building Administrator and the Corporate Director of Marketing & Admissions, the Director is responsible for achieving census growth, optimizing payer mix, and positioning the campus as the provider of choice within the local market.
This role is essential in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective and current residents, enhancing community awareness, and increasing occupancy across the Skilled Nursing, Sub-Acute Rehabilitation, and Assisted Living sectors of the campus. The Director leads efforts in admissions management including referral evaluation, insurance verification, scheduling and conducting tours, admission documentation, and coordination across multiple internal departments such as nursing and therapy. Business development responsibilities include establishing and nurturing referral relationships with a wide network of hospitals, discharge planners, social workers, physicians, and other healthcare providers to promote referral and program growth.
Additionally, the Director spearheads marketing initiatives to raise community awareness and showcase the comprehensive continuum of care services. Planning and executing community outreach events, educational seminars, networking opportunities, and collaborative marketing efforts with assisted living leadership ensures the campus' visibility and reputation. The Director also monitors referral activity and occupancy trends to develop targeted strategies to increase census and improve referral conversions.
Leadership duties encompass preparing and submitting detailed monthly reports on admissions, marketing, census, and outreach to corporate leadership, participating in departmental strategic meetings, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations including HIPAA, and maintaining high standards of customer service and resident satisfaction. This multifaceted role demands an individual with strong organizational skills, healthcare industry knowledge, a proactive approach to relationship building, and acute attention to detail to uphold Continuum Healthcare's mission of providing outstanding care services and strengthening community partnerships
