Job Description
ABS Kids is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services dedicated to supporting children with autism and their families. The organization emphasizes a mission-driven culture where the impact of their work is seen in the "wow moments"—those significant milestones that reflect progress in children’s development. ABS Kids fosters an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes a culture where all individuals can thrive. Their commitment to equal employment opportunities ensures a welcoming workplace for employees of varied backgrounds and identities. This organization is well recognized for its comprehensive approach that combines clinical expertise with compassionate care, focusing on personalized interventions and professional collaboration across interdisciplinary teams. They prioritize work-life balance, professional growth, and community connection, making them a desirable employer within the ABA services sector.
The Director of ABA Services at ABS Kids holds a pivotal role aimed at enhancing the clinical and administrative framework that drives service quality. This leadership position requires providing high-level consulting and guidance to direct care staff, including Behavior Analysts and lead Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). The director spearheads initiatives to improve staff productivity and clinical outcomes by monitoring performance, coaching staff, and participating in special interest groups that align with their organizational goals. They work closely with other leaders such as the Director of Clinical Operations and regional Vice Presidents to tailor strategies that meet regional needs. This role also involves significant project management responsibilities, including designing and implementing region-specific programs and overseeing RBT certification processes.
This full-time position offers a competitive total compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $110,000 annually, including salary and bonus potential. Benefits include a broad spectrum of healthcare options—medical, dental, vision—as well as voluntary benefits that enhance employee wellness and security, such as short-term disability, life insurance, accident coverage, and more. ABS Kids supports employee growth through a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) stipend and emphasizes work-life balance with weekday-only work schedules and no weekend requirements. Additional perks such as a 401(k) plan with company match, device stipends, paid time off, holidays, referral bonuses, and lifestyle spending accounts further enrich the employment experience. Professional collaboration is highly encouraged through ongoing meetings with interdisciplinary care teams and virtual events that foster community among colleagues.
In this leadership role, the Director of ABA Services will leverage their expertise in behavior analysis methodologies such as Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Verbal Behavior (VB), and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT). They will also rely on their skills conducting standardized assessments like VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS, and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA). Ideal candidates bring a master’s degree in behavior analysis or a related field coupled with BCBA certification and ample hands-on experience implementing and supervising ABA interventions. Through effective management and strategic initiatives, the director will contribute directly to the ongoing advancement and success of ABS Kids' ABA services, ultimately impacting the lives of children with autism and their families positively.
