Job Description
Trilogy at The Vineyards, located in the scenic East Bay area of Brentwood, California, is a distinguished part of the Trilogy community offering an exceptional lifestyle experience. This community club, Club Los Meganos, is renowned for its stunning architecture, breathtaking mountain views, and a comprehensive range of amenities that include a full-service Sawa Spa, Abby's Gourmet Studio dining, state-of-the-art fitness and sports courts, and beautifully maintained vineyards ideal for weddings and special events. Trilogy at The Vineyards provides a vibrant and active community atmosphere designed to enrich the lives of its members through innovative programming and personalized service.
Within this dynamic and engaging environment, the role of Lifestyle Director is pivotal. The Lifestyle Director serves as a central figure in achieving the club's core mission: bringing the community to life through creative events, effective programming, and strong communication with members. By working closely with club peers and leadership, the Lifestyle Director designs, organizes, and implements a variety of activities that attract and engage a diverse member base. This role requires a wide range of skills including charisma, creativity, copywriting, web content management, and the ability to deploy communication tools such as email, text, and alert systems.
The position is full-time with an annual pay range of $82,000 to $86,000. Full-time employees enjoy comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, and life insurance, paid time off, and holiday pay. Additionally, team members have access to a 401(k) plan after 30 days of service. This role demands flexibility in working hours, occasionally requiring evening and weekend hours to support events and member activities.
The Lifestyle Director embodies six key roles: Club Ambassador, Marketing Communicator, MTL Maximizer, Utility Player, Financial Administrator, and Innovator-in-Chief. These roles encompass being the welcoming face of the club, boosting participation through marketing, maintaining accurate community website content, providing hands-on support wherever needed, managing budgets, and innovating new community programs. Effective execution of these responsibilities ensures the club remains a vibrant, appealing place for members to gather and enjoy their lifestyle.
The ideal candidate must be self-driven, detail-oriented, and deeply aligned with the club’s values of honesty, integrity, respect for the individual, teamwork, and competitive spirit. Besides strong interpersonal skills, the Lifestyle Director must possess the ability to handle multiple priorities, lead teams, and foster a cooperative and motivated club atmosphere. Reporting directly to the Club General Manager, the Lifestyle Director plays a crucial role in supporting the club’s leadership and contributing to its ongoing success and reputation as a premier community club.
This role is best suited for a professional with a background in hospitality or travel industries, preferably with experience in event planning and budgeting. Familiarity with Homeowners Associations and homebuilder networks is advantageous. Certification in First Aid and CPR/AED is required to ensure safety standards are met during club activities and events. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and effective communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential for success. The position also demands strategic planning abilities, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Overall, the Lifestyle Director at Trilogy at The Vineyards is a key contributor to fostering a lively, engaging, and supportive community where members can pursue their lifestyle goals with enthusiasm and enjoyment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to impact a vibrant community positively while growing professionally within a prestigious club setting.
