The role of Director, Hospitality Revenue Management, at YSMN is a pivotal leadership position reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations and Hospitality Asset Management. This role serves as a subject-matter expert and a strategic business partner to the Office of Chief Gaming Officer, working closely with internal stakeholders across the enterprise to optimize revenue and profitability across the entire hospitality portfolio. This is a full-time leadership position focused on strategic and tactical aspects of revenue management, including demand forecasting, pricing strategy, inventory optimization, digital distribution strategy, market analytics, and performance reporting.

In this capacity, the Director is responsible for setting portfolio-wide revenue strategies that integrate multiple properties and ancillary revenue streams to maximize asset value and profit. The position requires a deep understanding of hospitality revenue management, channel distribution, and revenue optimization tools such as IDeaS, Duetto, Opera, SynXis, Tableau, and Power BI. The ideal candidate must be skilled in translating complex data into actionable business strategies and aligning commercial and operational teams to ensure cohesive execution and sustained revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include developing strategic pricing and optimization techniques, leading budgeting and forecasting efforts, producing comprehensive ownership reporting, refining revenue management systems and SOPs, and conducting competitive performance monitoring through market analytics. The Director also plays a critical role in building a revenue management culture by training property teams, influencing cross-functional partnerships, and fostering a revenue-focused mindset.

Supervisory duties are significant in this role, including hiring, training, evaluating, and mentoring team members, ensuring departmental performance aligns with organizational standards, and developing succession plans for key positions. This role requires a candidate who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and managing multiple priorities across a multi-property portfolio.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, economics, finance or STEM studies
  • minimum five years progressive experience in hotel revenue management
  • at least three years multi-property or corporate leadership experience
  • minimum seven years supervisory experience
  • ability to commute regularly between locations with valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • physical ability to perform duties in office and travel environment
  • may require gaming license per tribal commission regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, economics, finance or STEM studies
  • minimum five years progressive hotel revenue management experience
  • at least three years in multi-property or cluster leadership roles
  • seven years supervisory experience
  • experience managing revenue strategy in luxury, lifestyle, or resort properties preferred
  • advanced competence with major RMS, CRS, PMS, and BI tools
  • proven ability leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders
  • strong analytical skills including demand modeling, pricing elasticity, segmentation analysis
  • expertise in digital distribution ecosystems
  • ability to build and lead revenue management culture
  • excellent presentation and communication skills
  • ability to mentor and develop talent

Job Duties

  • Develops and implements portfolio revenue strategies including rate strategies and inventory management
  • oversees revenue strategy and performance across multiple properties
  • leads development of annual and long-range revenue budgets and forecasts
  • delivers executive-level insights and segmentation performance analysis
  • produces portfolio-level performance reporting integrating STR and competitive benchmarking
  • aligns revenue strategy with asset-level financial goals
  • establishes and refines revenue management SOPs and analytical frameworks
  • leads competitive performance monitoring and market-share analysis
  • conducts deep-dive reviews of transient, group, promotional, and channel performance
  • supervises hiring, training, evaluating, and coaching of revenue management staff
  • plans and directs cross-functional commercial strategies
  • ensures alignment and execution of revenue strategies across property teams
  • supports efficient department operation
  • develops individual development and succession plans for key roles
