Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or higher
- minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in research funding or grant administration
- proven track record managing large grant portfolios
- experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- familiarity with federal and state research compliance
- excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a complex healthcare environment
Job Qualifications

- extensive experience in research funding administration
- strong leadership and team management skills
- knowledge of NIH, FDA, and OMB Uniform Guidance regulations
- experience with grant pipeline development and funding strategies
- proficiency in budget planning and contract negotiation
- excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Job Duties
- set strategy for grants and sponsored programs portfolio
- align external funding with clinical, translational, and health-services priorities
- drive pipeline growth and cultivate foundation and industry partnerships
- optimize pre- and post-award operations
- ensure regulatory compliance with NIH, FDA, OMB Uniform Guidance, and state requirements
- oversee lifecycle management from opportunity scanning, LOIs, budgeting, contract negotiation, subaward administration to effort reporting and audits
- lead grants and contracts teams and support interdisciplinary clinical workforce
