Job Description

Las Vegas Lights FC is a professional soccer club based in Las Vegas, Nevada, competing within the USL Championship, a prominent tier in the American soccer league system. The club is recognized for its dynamic approach to fan engagement and community involvement, offering an exciting and energetic atmosphere for soccer enthusiasts and event attendees. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality entertainment experiences that go beyond just the sport itself, blending athletic competition with innovative event presentation and fan interaction. Dedicated to growing soccer's presence and popularity in Las Vegas, the club has positioned itself as an integral part of the local sports and entertainment landscape, drawing diverse audiences to every match and event held at their home stadium. The club fosters a professional environment that thrives on teamwork, creativity, and excellence in sports event management.

This leadership role requires the candidate to collaborate across multiple departments, including marketing, stadium operations, and sponsorships, to craft a unique, entertaining, and engaging event atmosphere that reflects the club's brand identity and meets partner expectations. The Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of game day and event presentation, such as pre-game shows, national anthems, halftime performances, in-game promotions, and tailgate events. This position supervises game day entertainment staff including mascots, hype teams, drumlines, camera operators, and DJs, directing them to deliver a seamless and entertaining experience. Responsibility also extends to special events beyond game days, including watch parties, meet-the-team events, and soccer clinics. The Director must manage budgets prudently, comply with USL regulations, and ensure fulfillment of sponsorship agreements related to event entertainment. This leadership role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments, and a deep passion for sports entertainment and live event production. Candidates should expect to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support all home games and select special events. Overall, this is a vital position that shapes the fan experience and enhances the club's connection with its audience through innovative and engaging event management practices.
