The Director of Food and Beverage-West Region plays a pivotal role within FirstService Residential by providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for food and beverage programs across managed communities in a multi-state region including California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and Colorado. This senior leadership position carries significant responsibility for partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders including association boards, developers, and on-site management teams to enhance resident experiences through superior food and beverage services. Compensation for this role ranges from $140,000 to $150,000 annually, with an additional 15% bonus, reflecting the level of expertise and experience expected.

In this role, the Director devises and implements best practices and operational strategies designed to standardize and elevate food and beverage service quality across multiple properties. Job Duties

  • Provide leadership support and operating expertise in food and beverage as a value-added service to managed communities across the region
  • Drive increase in additional food and beverage revenue, profits and loss accountability to operating budgets through financial reporting and food and beverage operations
  • Lead customer service and resident experience improvements through development and improvement of food and beverage standard operating procedures and best practices
  • Create implementation plans to support the execution of food and beverage programs, products, pricing and menu changes in conjunction with association boards, developers and management teams
  • Conduct evaluations and present recommendations, strategic options and business plans to associations
  • Support growth and sales processes for communities with food and beverage operations
  • Assist with talent needs of food and beverage teams including recruitment and development
  • Manage food and beverage teams to maximize profitability and develop a service culture
  • Work on site to support and/or cover for property position deficits
  • Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards
  • Conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct
  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and meet schedules
  • Participate in meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain knowledge of new developments, policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed
  • Follow all policies and standard operating procedures
  • Perform special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned
