The Director of Food and Beverage-West Region is a pivotal leadership role within FirstService Residential, offering strategic oversight and operational management for the food and beverage (F&B) programs across multiple managed communities within the western United States. This position is based in one of several regional offices including California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, or Colorado, with a highly competitive compensation package ranging from $140,000 to $150,000 annually plus a 15% bonus. The Director will partner closely with association boards, community developers, and on-site management teams to ensure exceptional service delivery that enhances resident experiences, drives revenue growth, and elevates operational efficiency.

In this role, the Director will be instrumental in developing and implementing best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and strategic business plans tailored to the unique needs of each community. This leadership opportunity requires travel up to 75% of the time, including evenings and weekends based on property events, and demands the ability to work on-site to cover for vacancies or support team needs. The physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand or sit for extended periods, and move around office and property settings, including uneven terrain and lengthy walks. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Food and Beverage Management or a related field and have at least ten years of progressive leadership experience with strong expertise in bar operations, casual and upscale dining, and kitchen procedures.
