Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 8+ years of event management experience with increasing responsibility
  • 2+ years managing and supporting a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment that requires strong multitasking skills, time management, and a self-starter mentality
  • Experience coordinating logistics for large events or community distributions, including inventory management, physical goods handling, or warehouse operations
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to run errands using the Baby2Baby vehicle

Job Duties

  • Leads operational planning and execution of three major annual distribution events Mother’s Day, Back to School, and Holiday
  • Oversees full lifecycle of goods management including collection, intake, inventory tracking, storage, and distribution in partnership with the Warehouse team
  • Develops event timelines, workflows, and operational plans
  • Manages event logistics including space, décor, program supplies, staffing, and materials
  • Partners closely with Programs, Warehouse, Volunteer, and Corporate Partnerships teams to secure supplies and meet sponsorship deliverables
  • Coordinates logistics for large volunteer sessions supporting distribution and programmatic activities
  • Manages external event producers and vendors while overseeing workflow and communication among event staff, contractors, and partners
  • Tracks event outcomes, inventory metrics, and participation data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provides logistical and operational support for Board meetings and Angel-related events
  • Supports operational and logistical needs for the annual gala alongside Development, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, and Operations teams
  • Manages a team of two event staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned
