Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of audio visual experience
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Sales experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in live show environment
- Must successfully complete Level 3 Skills training
- Proficiency with computer hardware
- Proficiency with computer software including Internet and Microsoft Office
- Effective leadership abilities
- Customer satisfaction focus
- Valid driver's license for team members operating company vehicles
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Over 3 years of audio visual experience
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- At least 2 years customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Sales experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in live show environment
- Completion of Level 3 Skills training required
- Proficiency with computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office and internet
- Strong leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus
- Valid driver's license required for vehicle operation
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while focusing on customer retention
- Service events and act as point of escalation as needed
- Identify key contract renewal issues and collaborate with internal resources for planning
- Consult with venue sales leadership on sales strategies
- Participate in business review presentations
- Manage efficient and profitable operation focusing on revenue maximization and cost control
- Achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment, and other costs
- Utilize operational and financial reports accurately
- Coordinate invoicing activities ensuring client approval
- Complete accurate and timely sales forecasts
- Manage location profit and loss and develop growth action plans
- Confirm timely payments from venue partners
- Direct daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of equipment and services
- Anticipate and address equipment challenges professionally
- Maintain inventory control with safety and quality assurance
- Share labor and equipment efficiently in local market
- Attend operational venue meetings
- Apply troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues
- Use company computer systems effectively
- Act as solo on-site technician if necessary
- Develop strategies to maximize revenue including upsell and cross-sell
- Prepare and present proposals and quotes timely
- Attend site visits and planning meetings
- Collaborate with vendors and departments to secure events
- Understand event cost structures for profitability
- Maintain accurate customer information in CRM
- Stay informed on new products and event technology
- Create reports for senior management
- Deliver world-class service exceeding customer expectations
- Oversee personnel assisting event execution
- Meet on-site guests to ensure satisfaction
- Monitor small venues and customer needs
- Maintain professional image and standards
- Promote culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Embrace and foster company core values
- Manage team performance and employee concerns
- Facilitate team development and adequate staffing
- Handle HR activities including selection and training
- Provide coaching to develop team skills
