This particular role is the Director of Dining Services, a pivotal leadership position charged with overseeing the daily operations of a dining account within the healthcare setting. The Director of Dining Services will manage and lead a team of associates, ensuring the delivery of superior quality food and exceptional customer service to patients and guests. The position emphasizes strong client relations, as the director will act as a liaison between Morrison Healthcare and its hospital clients, ensuring their expectations and standards are consistently met. Responsibilities also include managing profit and loss statements and budgeting related to the account, as well as assisting with the development and rollout of new culinary programs that align with client needs and company innovations. This role is located in the Milledgeville/Macon area, and candidates are required to live within this region. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of science degree in hospitality or culinary arts preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in foodservice operations
  • Experience in high volume production and catering
  • Previous experience managing budgets
  • Must live within the Milledgeville/Macon area
  • Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests and clients as well as other departments
  • Work with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food
  • Oversee all profit and loss statements and budgeting as it pertains to the account
  • Roll out new culinary programs
  • Manage and lead a team of associates
  • Ensure superior quality food and customer service
  • Act as liaison between Morrison Healthcare and hospital clients
