This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage major fundraising initiatives that substantially impact the health network’s mission and community services.

The role involves providing visionary leadership for major gifts campaigns and related fundraising priorities, managing a portfolio of 100-150 donors capable of giving $25,000 or more. The Director will collaborate closely with advancement services to identify prospective donors and work with stewardship teams to ensure proper recognition and management of major gifts. Responsibilities include cultivating and soliciting donor relationships, developing physician alignment and engagement within the culture of philanthropy, and building connections with community members, patients, and colleagues. The Director will utilize education and transparent communication to engage prospects and donors, maximizing fundraising revenue while enhancing the network's reputation for philanthropic excellence.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate knowledge of local hospital community issues and the ability to work effectively within a large health network.

This position not only offers the chance to advance one’s career in philanthropy but also the meaningful opportunity to contribute directly to improving healthcare services and patient experiences in the Lehigh Valley region. By joining LVHN as the Director of Development - Major Gifts, you become part of a nationally recognized health network where innovation, teamwork, and dedication to community well-being define the culture and success.
