The center’s commitment to excellence is supported by an experienced team dedicated to ensuring seamless event execution and memorable guest interactions, making it a top choice for event planners and attendees alike.
We are actively searching for an experienced Director of Banquets to join our leadership team at the Colorado Convention Center. The position requires a strategic leader who can foster an engaged and high-performing team, ultimately driving the success and reputation of the Convention Center’s banquet services.
As an individual contributor within our organization, the Director of Banquets will be responsible for completing specialized technical tasks and projects, applying their expertise to support operational needs. Although much of the work is achieved independently, collaboration with other team members and departments is essential to ensure cohesive and efficient service delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead complex food service operations that directly influence client experiences and promote long-term partnerships.
The offered salary range for this position is approximately $61,710 to $79,860 per year, reflecting the candidate’s experience and qualifications. As the Director of Banquets, you will gain valuable expertise in areas such as purchasing, inventory control, food cost management, and production forecasting. You will champion food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, ensuring compliance at every level of daily operations. Furthermore, building trusted partnerships with clients to support account growth and stability will be a central aspect of the role.
Leadership development is strongly emphasized, with opportunities to grow your impact through coaching, delegation, and employee engagement initiatives.
