The Program Supervisor role at REM Community Services is a pivotal position designed for someone passionate about making a positive impact and eager to take on leadership responsibilities within a dynamic, mission-focused environment. This full-time role offers a starting pay of $21.00 per hour and features a varied schedule that generally includes shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., as well as every other weekend with 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. shifts. The Program Supervisor is essential in facilitating the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and overseeing the administrative functions of the program, including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and ongoing supervision. This position strikes a balance between providing direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and managing the professional activities and team leadership crucial to the program’s success. The role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean vehicle record adhering to Sevita's insurability policies, as the supervisor will also support community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to various activities.

Job Requirements
- valid driver’s license held for at least one year post-permit
- clean motor vehicle record meeting Sevita’s insurability policy
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year related work experience
- 18 years of age or older
- current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance
- compliance with licensure or certification requirements by regulatory authorities
- strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties
- facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight
- supervise a team of caregivers supporting individuals in the program
- provide support to individuals receiving services including assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care
- duties split between providing direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision
- facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities
