The Program Supervisor role at ResCare Community Living is a rewarding career opportunity designed for individuals passionate about making a difference. This position plays a crucial part in the company’s success by expanding access to quality services and innovating support delivery for individuals with varying intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Program Supervisor facilitates the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and manages a team of caregivers to support service recipients effectively. This role balances hands-on client engagement, administrative duties, and supervisory responsibilities. The supervisor provides direct assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care, while also overseeing staff hiring, training, scheduling, and overall program coordination.

A distinctive feature of this role is its focus on community involvement, including accompanying individuals on outings and providing transportation to necessary activities like work. The position requires a valid driver’s license with a verifiable history of at least one year of active driving and meets all legal requirements for operation. The shift is scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 2 pm to 10 pm, and the pay rate is $19 per hour, with a deduction of .5 percent for union dues per paycheck.

Working as a Program Supervisor at ResCare provides valuable supervisory experience while maintaining close, direct contact with clients. It is an excellent choice for motivated individuals seeking growth in their professional skills and to make a tangible difference in their community. The company offers flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, and as-needed), comprehensive compensation and benefits packages for full-time employees, including 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and employee referral bonuses. Behind every position at ResCare is a commitment to rewarding, impactful work alongside dedicated coworkers in a supportive and inclusive environment underlining equal opportunity employment practices.
