ResCare Community Living, part of the Sevita family, has been providing high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1974. With decades of experience, ResCare stands as a trusted name in the home and community-based care sector, empowering people to live more independently in their homes and communities. Their mission focuses on enhancing independence, building essential life skills, and helping individuals overcome personal challenges to reach their full potential. This commitment to quality care and support is evident through their dedicated staff and innovative programs tailored to the unique needs of each person they serve.
Sevita, the parent organization, is a leading provider of specialized health care across the United States, serving over 50,000 individuals with a team of 40,000 dedicated professionals. Sevita has a rich history of over 50 years in championing independence and quality care for people facing physical, intellectual, and behavioral challenges. Their services are designed to promote growth, skill development, and community inclusion. ResCare, as part of Sevita, benefits from this extensive network and wealth of experience, providing a supportive and nurturing environment for both its clients and staff.
The role within ResCare Community Living involves overseeing the wellbeing and safety of residents by ensuring staff perform their duties effectively and that the home is well-maintained and equipped. Responsibilities include monitoring staff performance, ensuring the safety and care of the members, managing supplies such as food, and making sure medications are administered properly. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including daily records and incident reports. This position is essential in fostering a safe, supportive, and structured environment where individuals can thrive and feel cared for.
Working with ResCare offers the opportunity to be part of a compassionate, mission-driven organization that values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. They uphold a non-discrimination policy respecting all employees and clients regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, citizenship, or other protected characteristics. This inclusive culture encourages team members to contribute fully and grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Joining ResCare means being part of a team dedicated to changing lives through empowerment, respect, and expert care.
