We are currently seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide dedicated, personalized care for a young adult male client in the Clackamas area. This role is critical as it encompasses advocating for the client during medical appointments, assisting with daily living skills, and facilitating participation in community activities to encourage social engagement and personal development. The Direct Support Professional will work closely with the client to support independence, safety, and emotional well-being while delivering physical assistance when necessary. The position requires reliability, flexibility, patience, and a compassionate approach to care, with responsibilities including driving the client to appointments, grocery shopping, and supporting community integration based on the client’s interests. The role also emphasizes consistent documentation of progress towards Individual Support Plan goals, collaboration with case managers, and maintaining organized housing information for the client. The work schedule is flexible with specific hours on Wednesdays from 12 PM to 5 PM, and potential additional days. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
