The role available at Chimes is a Personal Support worker position, offering an hourly wage of $19.75. This position is essential within the residential programs, focusing on providing direct support and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities in a home setting. The primary responsibility is to engage closely with individuals served, ensuring that all planned programs and activities are carried out effectively to promote growth and independence. This role requires active involvement, hands-on assistance with daily living skills such as mobility, personal hygiene, budgeting, and household tasks, as well as medication administration and health monitoring following established medical orders. The Personal Support worker also plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, secure, and personalized living environment that respects the dignity and preferences of each person.

Beyond day-to-day duties, this position demands effective communication with the broader care team including program managers, day program staff, and medical professionals to coordinate care and report any concerns promptly. The worker is expected to utilize approved behavior plans and crisis intervention techniques to assist individuals in achieving their goals while maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere. Flexibility is key, as work schedules include nights, weekends, and holidays.
