Job Description
ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, is a renowned provider of quality services aimed at empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since its inception in 1974, ResCare has been dedicated to enhancing independence and helping people live well through person-centered approaches. The organization supports individuals to build essential life skills, overcome various challenges, and reach their full potential in both their homes and community environments. As a member of the larger Sevita network, ResCare benefits from the resources, expertise, and national reputation of a company committed to specialized health care services. Sevita employs over 40,000 team members serving approximately 50,000 individuals across the United States, continually innovating and enhancing care.
The role available at ResCare is that of a Caregiver, a position integral to the day-to-day experience and well-being of the individuals served. This opportunity is ideal for compassionate, patient, and committed individuals who find deep meaning in supporting others to thrive. Caregivers at Sevita take pride in performing rewarding work as they help participants grow, learn, and live well. They develop meaningful relationships with the people they support and are trusted by leadership to take initiative in fostering community involvement and engagement in activities. Caregivers assist participants with personal hygiene, support those with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and provide care to individuals with possible behavioral or complex needs.
This role offers competitive pay including pay on demand for greater financial flexibility, and an attractive full benefits package for full-time employees. Benefits include a 401(k) plan with a company match of 3%, paid time off, holiday pay, and a supportive network of supervisors who prioritize both participant and caregiver well-being. Working at Sevita offers job security within an established, growing company committed to investing in employee development through ongoing training and learning opportunities. This caregiver position is excellent for those looking to make a meaningful impact while advancing their career in human services.
