The position focuses on direct support within programs typically serving 4 to 6 individuals in residential environments or up to 10 individuals in periodic programs. Support activities encompass socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, and skill and behavioral development, aligning with individualized service plans. This role demands a compassionate caregiver skilled in delivering assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, citizenship, and other routine needs.

The role involves a comprehensive set of essential functions including direct support aligned with personalized plans, accurate record-keeping, and effective management of individuals’ assets according to their preferences and budgets. It requires maintaining professional and supportive relationships with individuals, their families, guardians, and case managers. Alerts and reports about any suspicions of abuse or neglect or any medical and behavioral incidents must be promptly communicated according to company and regulatory standards.
