Job Requirements
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- able to remain awake and alert throughout entire overnight shift
- available to attend mandatory daytime orientation from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday during the first week
- pass a background check
- drug testing required under Montana law
- reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- comfortable with basic electronic documentation
- experience preferred but not required, paid training is provided
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is favored but not required
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to follow detailed instructions and document activities accurately
- basic proficiency with electronic documentation systems
- reliability and punctuality
- ability to stay awake and alert during overnight shifts
- willingness to participate in mandatory training and orientation
Job Duties
- Stay alert throughout the overnight shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- conduct client checks every two hours and respond if assistance is needed
- perform housekeeping tasks including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface cleaning
- do laundry and pack client lunches for the following day
- write and submit a shift summary by 5:00 AM
- assist early risers with basic morning routines such as hygiene, meals, and medication
- record observations and activities using electronic documentation
- administer medications and use Mandt behavioral support techniques as needed
