Job Requirements
- Driving record that is acceptable is preferred

Job Qualifications

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or mental health needs preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to document and follow care plans accurately
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo training and professional development
Job Duties
- Assist people served to live more independently and happily by supporting personal goals such as healthy eating and exercise
- Assist with day-to-day needs including transportation, cleaning, bathing, meal preparation, and medical appointments
- Accompany people served in community activities such as shopping, Special Olympics, and movies
- Provide encouragement and coaching to help develop daily living skills and healthy habits
- Document support provided during shifts accurately
- Work with individuals with medical, behavioral, and mental health needs
- Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance person-centered care
