Mentor Community Services, a proud member of the Sevita family, offers vital community-based services tailored for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As part of the Sevita network, we are driven by a mission to empower every person to live well and to foster careers that are meaningful and fulfilling. Our organization is dedicated to creating an environment where individuals not only receive superior care but are also supported in their journey toward greater independence and growth. With over 50 years of experience, Sevita and its affiliated services like Mentor Community Services have become trusted leaders in the specialized health care sector, serving more than 50,000 individuals across the United States with a committed team of 40,000 employees.
Joining Mentor Community Services means becoming part of a passionate team that values trust, compassion, and a community-centered approach. Our caregivers are more than employees—they are pivotal members who build meaningful connections with those they support. As a caregiver at Sevita, you will find pride in providing rewarding services that promote learning, growth, and wellbeing. The role involves assisting individuals with daily personal care needs and behavioral challenges, creating opportunities for engagement in favorite activities and community involvement, and supporting participants in setting and achieving developmental goals, including budgeting, nutrition, and exercise. This role not only requires patience and compassion but also offers a chance to develop a rewarding career that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
Our mission-driven culture encourages initiative and autonomy, trusting caregivers to make decisions that honor the dignity and preferences of each participant. In return for your dedication, Mentor Community Services offers competitive pay, including pay on demand, and a robust benefits package for full-time employees. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, a 401(k) plan with a company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and continual opportunities for professional development. At Sevita, you will experience a supportive work environment where supervisors are deeply invested in your success and wellbeing, providing a strong network of support.
Through a commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity, we embrace diversity and ensure all team members can thrive in their roles without discrimination. Joining our team is a chance to build a fulfilling career that supports a vital cause—helping individuals with disabilities lead enriched, independent lives. If you are patient, compassionate, and committed to empowering others, a career at Mentor Community Services through the Sevita family will be both meaningful and rewarding.
