Job Description

The role being offered is a full-time, onsite Direct Support Professional (DSP) position based in Hiawatha at 1220 Industrial Ave. Suite C. This role is essential in supporting individuals in achieving their personal and developmental goals by assisting with a wide range of daily activities. The starting pay for this position ranges from $15.25 to $18.50 per hour. In this capacity, the Direct Support Professional serves as a mentor, advocate, and trusted friend to the individuals they support. The role involves helping clients with budgeting, nutrition, recreation, and engaging in community-based activities. Employees in this role take the initiative to create a positive environment where individuals feel encouraged, valued, and empowered. Responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and supporting outings and social participation. Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license for at least one full year without restrictions
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Successful clearance of background checks
