Job Description
Comfort Keepers is a leading provider of in-home care services based in Greenville, South Carolina, and its surrounding communities. Specializing in personalized care and compassion, Comfort Keepers focuses on helping seniors and individuals with varying daily living needs live safely and independently in their own homes. This reputable company prioritizes dignity, respect, and personalized attention, creating a supportive environment for both clients and employees. Known for its commitment to quality care, Comfort Keepers offers a wide range of services including companionship, personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders tailored to individual client requirements.
Comfort Keepers is currently seeking Direct Care Professionals to join their dedicated team. These caregivers work closely with seniors and individuals who require assistance with everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and light housekeeping. The role is ideal for compassionate and dependable individuals who want to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexible scheduling options such as full-time, part-time, day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and overnight shifts. Comfort Keepers supports caregivers regardless of prior experience by providing paid training and certification opportunities.
In this role, Direct Care Professionals will not only help with physical needs but also provide much-needed companionship and mental stimulation for clients. They assist clients with dementia or other cognitive challenges, ensuring safety and comfort throughout their daily routines. This position involves working in the client’s home environment, making it critical to maintain a safe, clean, and organized space. Direct Care Professionals also support clients with meal preparation and feeding as well as medication reminders, helping to promote health and wellness.
Comfort Keepers values individuals who demonstrate patience, reliability, and strong communication skills. While caregiving experience such as CNA, HHA, or PCA certifications is a plus, it is not required. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, able to pass background checks, and have reliable transportation, allowing them to travel to client homes efficiently. Comfort Keepers also recognizes the value and effort of their team by offering competitive pay—up to $17 per hour plus holiday premium pay—and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and a 401K plan with company matching.
This opportunity at Comfort Keepers not only provides a fulfilling career path but also encourages professional growth and community involvement. Caregivers benefit from mileage reimbursement for travel, daily or weekly pay options, and bonuses for caregiver recognition and referrals. Working as a Direct Care Professional offers the chance to join a respected employer committed to kindness, purpose, and excellent service delivery. Apply today to embark on a rewarding career where you can make a difference every day, helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
