The role of Director of Dining Services at Chartwells K12 is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced professional eager to make a meaningful impact on student nutrition and dining experiences. This salaried position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $90,000, along with valuable additional benefits, including annual bonus incentives, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K retirement plans, paid time off, and more.

As a Director of Dining Services, you will oversee the daily operations of a dining account, managing and leading a dedicated team of associates committed to delivering superior food service. Your responsibilities will include maintaining excellent relationships with clients, guests, and internal teams to ensure smooth and effective operational flow. You will collaborate with chefs and management to create menus that meet high standards of taste and nutrition. Additionally, you will be accountable for overseeing all financial aspects related to the account such as profit and loss statements and budgeting. This role also requires the rollout of new culinary programs that align with the company’s goals of wellness and customer satisfaction.

This position demands strong skills in client relationship management, team leadership, and operational management. Ideal candidates will have a background in foodservice operations, including experience with high-volume production and catering, as well as proven budget management capabilities. A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
