Job Duties
- Guide guests through the menu, take and process orders, and ensure a high standard of service and presentation
- Create moments for our guests as they experience Hive!
- Have extensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- Guide guests through the menu, answer questions, suggest items, and up-sell
- Order Management:
- Take and enter orders into the POS system accurately
- Check IDs for guests under 30
- Maintain accurate financial records, including discounts and guest info
- Ensure food and beverage quality meets guest expectations
- Package and deliver take-home items
- Communicate guest feedback and complaints to management
- Ensure tables are set with polished glassware, flatware, china, and napkins
- Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, respond quickly to spills
- Manage table configuration for party sizes, perform pre-bussing, and restock as needed
- Safety and Hygiene:
- Follow sanitation and safety standards
- Practice safe food handling, storage, and handling procedures
- Complete required training and maintain clean equipment
- Produce accurate orders and meet sales goals
- Develop repeat guest relationships through excellent service
- Protect company assets with accurate cash handling and safe practices
- Maintain a clean uniform and professional appearance
- Demonstrate teamwork, communication, and adherence to cleanliness and safety standards
- Flexible scheduling required, including weekends and holidays
- Awareness of potential hazards (cuts, burns, slips)
- Ability to work closely with other staff and adapt to a dynamic environment
