Job Requirements

  • At least two years of previous supervisor experience
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Previous experience delegating and leading a kitchen team through service
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must be able to remain calm and collected during stressful situations
  • Must be computer proficient in ordering products and interact with sales and vendors
  • Must have a strong commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
  • California Food Handlers Certification required

Job Duties

  • Produce consistent, quality food products that meet and exceed guest expectations
  • Assist in training and developing department staff
  • Supervise hourly cooks during service
  • Order storeroom requisitions and manage inventory as needed
  • Monitor payroll costs and overtime
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain a calm and organized kitchen environment during service
