This impressive 1230-room property stands directly across from the iconic Duke Kahanamoku Statue and is situated near the magnificent Diamond Head Crater, placing it in the heart of Honolulu’s vibrant city center. Visitors to Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach enjoy an exceptional blend of modern amenities and the warm spirit of Aloha that permeates every aspect of the hotel experience. From culturally rich activities and on-site boutiques to a spectacular swimming pool that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and locally sourced dining specialties, Hyatt Regency Waikiki offers guests a truly memorable stay.

As a luxury resort and spa, Hyatt Regency Waikiki is committed to delivering outstanding service and guest experiences. The culinary team plays a crucial role in this endeavor, ensuring that food quality, presentation, and service meet the high expectations synonymous with the Hyatt brand. This role requires an individual with in-depth culinary expertise and a comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will skillfully manage food production, maintain exceptional quality and consistency, and oversee staffing and training within the kitchen department. This position demands proficiency in various areas, including culinary education, cost control, effective communication, computer literacy, and organizational abilities. Guest contact experience and culinary teaching skills are also essential, helping to foster a collaborative and motivated kitchen environment.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that every dish served at Hyatt Regency Waikiki exceeds guest expectations not only in taste but also in consistency and presentation. The position offers an hourly wage range from $30.70 to $38.37, reflecting the required expertise and commitment. The hotel offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of its employees. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and pension plans, alongside free and discounted hotel night stays worldwide, and an employee stock purchase plan. Employees are also entitled to paid vacation, sick time, and holidays, as well as free training courses offered through HARIETT, the Hyatt’s dedicated training platform. Duty meals are provided, ensuring staff have access to quality food during their shifts.

Hyatt Regency Waikiki encourages a workplace culture focused on respect, integrity, humility, empathy, creativity, and fun. With more than 130,000 colleagues around the globe working in over 70 countries, the company fosters an environment where individuals feel empowered to perform at their best and establish genuine connections.
