Job Requirements

  • Experience working as a bartender in high-end or busy hospitality environments
  • Knowledge of food and wine pairing principles
  • Familiarity with a wide range of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Proof of legal age to serve alcohol
  • Willingness to adhere to all legal and company service procedures
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in bar area

  • Deep understanding of food and wine pairings
  • Comprehensive knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits, wine and beer
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Keen attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve drinks that are 100% accurately made and beautifully garnished, consistent with Amaro's Table standards and recipes
  • Create cost-considerate draft cocktails, drink specials, etc, with daily stock/surplus
  • Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials
  • Maintain an expert level understanding of the current wine, beer and spirits selection, with an emphasis on amari
  • Make drink or spirit recommendations to guests and servers using knowledge of our backbar with a default to classic cocktails and amari
  • Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars, provide thoughtful and engaging service to all
  • Follow all steps of service outlined in Server Guidelines and maintain highest standards
