The Dining Worker/Server position based in Dudley, Massachusetts, presents an engaging role within American Dining Creations. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while performing food preparation duties efficiently. As a Dining Worker/Server, the individual will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, serving menu items promptly from a station or serving line, and maintaining a friendly atmosphere. The position may also involve assisting with cashier duties, cleaning and organizing kitchen and serving areas, stocking supplies, and taking care of equipment upkeep.

This job requires adherence to established recipes, health, and safety guidelines, ensuring correct serving temperatures, portion controls, and accurate documentation such as temperature logs and food dating. Employees will provide guests with detailed information about food ingredients, availability, and pricing, ensuring transparency and customer confidence. They will also handle cash register operations, including processing payments for food and beverage purchases, and assist with packaging food for take-out and mobile orders.

Customer satisfaction is paramount; therefore, the role involves escalating concerns or complaints to management when necessary. Flexibility is important as additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned to meet day-to-day operational needs. Job Requirements

  • 1+ years prior experience in a customer service, food service, or retail position preferred
  • Able to work well with others as well as excel independently
  • Time management skills and task focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, communicate effectively
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, climb stairs, stand, and walk for entire scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • Follow established recipes to prepare and serve menu items for a food station
  • Greet and serve guests in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control, temperature logs, and dates
  • Provide guests with information regarding food ingredients, availability, and pricing
  • Perform cashier duties including operating a POS and accepting payments
  • Assist with labels and packaging food for take-out menus and mobile ordering
  • Escalate customer concerns and complaints to management
  • Clean, organize, and maintain kitchen, equipment, utensils, and general areas
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
