Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of culinary or supervisory experience in food service or hospitality
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including varying shifts
  • proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • commitment to compliance with safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of culinary experience or experience in a supervisory or leadership role within food service or hospitality
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • ServSafe certification strongly recommended
  • proficiency with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office programs
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including varying shifts as needed
  • strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on leadership style

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and coach support staff to ensure consistent service excellence and operational standards
  • oversee daily operations of multiple food stations, including deli, pizza, and grill, ensuring quality, efficiency, and presentation
  • work hands-on alongside team members assisting with food preparation, cooking, inventory management, and maintaining clean, organized workspaces
  • manage POS transactions, cash drawers, and related office and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
  • maintain café cleanliness and ensure full compliance with company safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols
  • serve as a welcoming, guest-facing presence engaging daily with customers and providing friendly, professional, and solution-oriented service
  • support a positive team culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
