Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in food service management
- Experience in high volume dining or related food service environments
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products
- Ability to manage budgets and financial records
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation
- Preferred ServSafe Certification
- Preferred Associate’s degree
Job Qualifications
- Two years of food service management experience
- Experience in restaurants hotels corporate dining education military health care or related food service operations
- Preferred experience in waited table and catering
- Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality production sanitation food cost controls and presentation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Financial budgetary accounting and computational skills
- Proficient in MS Office including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and internet
- Preferred ServSafe Certification
- Preferred Associate’s degree
Job Duties
- Lead and oversee daily dining room operations ensuring high-end hospitality experience
- Manage, coach, and develop front-of-house team members to deliver consistent exceptional service
- Engage with residents to build relationships address feedback and drive continuous service improvement
- Maintain quality and operational standards through attention to detail service execution and floor presence
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly service-oriented manner
- Assist with profit and loss budgeting related to dining services account
- Collaborate with culinary and management teams to create menus and ensure top quality food
- Assist in food service-related activities including quality improvement sanitation infection control meal services in a seated dining room
- Support rollout of new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams
- Prepare quarterly reports for client presentations
- Work with marketing and culinary departments to increase sales through innovation and food quality
