The Dining Services Associate role at Villanova’s Cascia Cabrini Campus is a full-time, 12-month staff position critical to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety within the dining operations. The position is located in Villanova, PA, and offers a starting hourly rate of $17.50, with additional shift differentials for qualifying hours. This role entails both front of the house and back of the house responsibilities including receiving, stocking, cleaning, and food safety practices. The associate will be involved in stocking and rotating merchandise, replenishing food supplies, and assisting in various operational tasks to ensure efficient dining services. As part of this role, the associate will work closely with management and peers to uphold the Villanova Mission and the Dining Services Mission Statement by focusing on core values of safety, sanitation, and excellence.

Job Duties
- Scrapes cleans sanitizes and replenishes all dishes silverware cups glasses pots and pans etc
- Properly stores all clean items
- Operates dish machine or pot machine and records proper temperatures and chemical sanitizer levels
- Loads and unloads dish machine
- Disposes of food waste and trash front and back of house as needed
- Sweeps and mops all floors and walk in refrigerators
- Separates recycling from trash
- Assists in receiving storing transporting and stocking of food and nonfood items
- Assists in transporting supplies from storage to work areas as needed
- Fills juices milk and soda machines
- Assists on serving lines or back of house prep work if needed
- Acts as a runner to replenish food supplies on service lines
- Communicates with cooks about food amounts
- Works special events and weekends as required
- Performs additional duties and assists with special projects as assigned
