The current opening is for a Checker position within the Hallmark Management Service dining program. The role involves direct interaction with customers, ensuring that guests feel welcome and receive attentive service during their dining experience. A Checker is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, handling food products according to strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, and following company operational policies, including cash handling where applicable and guest count reporting. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. It is a physically active position that includes standing and walking for extended periods as well as occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Hallmark offers multiple schedules for Checkers, including AM and PM shifts throughout the week and weekends, providing flexibility to accommodate different lifestyles.

Job Duties

  • Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace storing, labeling and rotating product according to standards
  • Follows HMS operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and guest count reporting
  • Welcomes every customer personally making eye contact and answering any product-related questions
  • Assists in maintaining overall dining area cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations
