The role of Dining Services Director at Brightview on New Canaan is a critical leadership position within this community. This individual will take charge of managing all aspects of dining operations, both front and back of the house, ensuring the delivery of outstanding meals and an exceptional dining experience that enhances residents’ quality of life. The position is responsible for overseeing the dietary staff, developing effective communication plans involving residents, families, and team members, and maintaining a safe and hygienic dining environment. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • bachelors degree preferred with focus on culinary, hospitality, or food management
  • food service management experience of 2-4 years in hospitality (country club, banquets)
  • demonstrated leadership of diverse staff from dishwashers to chefs
  • current Safe Serve or relevant certification
  • experience in food preparation
  • organizational and multitasking skills
  • budget planning and management ability
  • report analysis skills
  • moderate computer skills with Microsoft suite

Job Duties

  • manage dining operations for front and back of the house
