Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- some dining server experience
- able to read, write and communicate effectively
- food handler certification and alcohol server certification
- must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English
Job Qualifications
- prior serving experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred
- strong guest-service mindset with a passion for hospitality and teamwork
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally with members, guests, and teammates
- comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer tools
- ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced service environment
- private club experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- provide friendly, professional, and attentive table service to members and guests in accordance with club service standards
- greet members promptly, present menus, explain offerings, and answer questions regarding food and beverage selections
- accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the club’s point-of-sale system
- deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation, accuracy, and quality
- maintain table appearance throughout the dining experience, including clearing courses, refilling beverages, and resetting place settings as needed
- utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the member experience, including menu features, beverages, wine pairings, desserts, and after-dinner offerings
- monitor member satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns, escalating issues to management when appropriate
