The Dining Server role at Spring Hills Lake Mary is a full-time position offering varied shifts from 6:00am to 2:00pm and 11:00am to 7:00pm. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about providing excellent customer service and eager to contribute to a warm, vibrant senior living community. As a Dining Server, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing residents' dining experiences by delivering courteous, efficient, and attentive service. Responsibilities include taking food and drink orders, setting up tables with clean linens and polished silverware, accommodating guest requests, and maintaining a clean and sanitary dining environment in compliance with health and safety standards. Your knowledge of the menu and ability to communicate key ingredients and alternatives will help residents make informed dining choices.

In this role, effective communication, active listening, and a service-oriented mindset are essential skills, ensuring that residents' needs are met promptly and with care. Social perceptiveness and teamwork are also vital, as you will adjust your actions based on the environment and collaborate closely with supervisors and other staff to provide seamless service. Pre-busing tables and supporting overall cleanliness are part of maintaining an inviting dining atmosphere that meets community standards. Experience working in an assisted living setting is highly preferred but not mandatory.
