The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is currently seeking a dedicated In-Room Dining Server to join their esteemed food and beverage team. This role involves delivering food orders and amenities promptly and with the highest standards of quality directly to guests’ rooms. The In-Room Dining Server is expected to greet guests warmly and possess a thorough understanding of the food and beverage menu to provide detailed descriptions and recommendations. Responsibilities also include the setup, breakdown, and cleaning of room service tables and equipment, as well as handling guest check closures with accuracy and attention to detail. Servers will anticipate guest needs proactively, ensure guest satisfaction, and respond promptly and effectively to any guest requests or concerns, all while upholding the luxury standards of Four Seasons. This role requires flexibility due to the hotel's 24/7 operation schedule, encompassing mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The ideal candidate will bring a passion for flawless service, integrity, and a strong work ethic, alongside solid knowledge of food and beverage offerings and exceptional customer service skills. Being a team player with strong interpersonal abilities and eligible to work in the United States are essential qualifications. Job Duties
- Transport food orders and amenities to guest rooms in a timely manner ensuring proper food quality
- Greet guests and provide thorough descriptions of food and beverage items
- Break down, clean, and set up room service tables and necessary items
- Coordinate tray and table removal efficiently
- Accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature
- Properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond promptly to guest concerns and requests
