Job Requirements
- a high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food Handler Card with knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus
- 6 to 12 months experience in serving hospitality or customer service preferred
- experience in senior living healthcare or hospitality preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- patient and professional demeanor
- availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- at least 6 to 12 months of experience in a serving hospitality or customer service role is a plus
- previous experience in senior living healthcare or hospitality settings is highly desirable

- availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- greet residents and guests warmly creating a positive dining atmosphere
- take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly
- ensure meals are served according to residents' dietary requirements and preferences including portion sizes and special requests
- ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents serving food and beverages with a smile
- prepare the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens utensils and glassware
- clear tables promptly after meals ensuring cleanliness and organization
- reset tables for the next meal service
- communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff
- follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines including proper handling of food and beverages
- ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards
