The Dining Server role at Collingswood Manor is a vital part of the hospitality and care team. This part-time evening and night position requires a dedicated individual committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences to senior residents. The server will be responsible for providing excellent customer service from start to finish during meal service, including order taking, preparation and delivery of salads, soups, beverages, and desserts, and clearing dishes between courses. The Dining Server ensures that all meals are served efficiently while adhering to safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in the dining facility. This role also supports special catering events and other dining-focused programs offered by the community.

Job Requirements

  • Three months experience as waitress or waiter preferred
  • Ability to work evenings and nights
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout shifts
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must comply with health and safety standards
  • Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service during meal service including order taking, salad, soup, beverage, and dessert dish up
  • Clear dishes between courses efficiently
  • Ensure safe food service by maintaining cleaning and sanitation of tools and work space
  • Properly store food according to safety standards
  • Clean and set up dining rooms before and after meals
  • Process table orders accurately and on time
  • Participate in dining service programs including catering and special events
