Job Requirements

  • Prior experience as a server in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • At least six months in a guest-facing role like host, busser, or similar with excellent performance references
  • Must be 18 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages as per state law
  • Proficient in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Possession of a food handler's card and any necessary alcohol awareness certification as mandated by state and local regulations
  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Prior experience as a server in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Ability to interact positively with customers
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Food handler's card

Job Duties

  • Take full ownership of providing a high-quality experience for each guest
  • Welcome and greet guests within two minutes of seating
  • Inform guests of daily specials and menu updates
  • Make tailored recommendations for beverages, appetizers, entrées, and desserts based on guest preferences
  • Answer any questions guests may have regarding our food and beverages
  • Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders using our point-of-sale system
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly from the kitchen and bar to the table
  • Prepare tables for incoming dishes and maintain an inviting dining environment
  • Complete side work duties as assigned during each shift
  • Keep service and dining areas clean and well-stocked at all times
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any issues promptly
  • Respond courteously to guest requests and provide proactive beverage refills
  • Prepare and present the final bill to guests, process payments efficiently
  • Assist fellow team members willingly and without hesitation
  • Show appreciation to guests for their visit and encourage them to return
  • Participate in all scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement
  • Immediately inform the manager of any guest dissatisfaction
  • Cover duties of other servers during breaks as needed
  • Assist with special catering events as required
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by a supervisor
