Job Description

Delaware North's Patina Group is a globally recognized hospitality company that prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences through its diverse portfolio. Established over 100 years ago, Delaware North operates in various sectors including sports, gaming, travel hospitality, and restaurants. One of its distinguished ventures is Paseo in Anaheim, California, a vibrant restaurant situated within the Downtown Disney District. With a menu inspired by the Mediterranean and Latin American coastal cuisines and led by the Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán, Paseo offers a delightful fusion of fresh, seasonal ingredients presented with an elegant yet relaxed style. The venue features a contemporary design, an open kitchen, and an inviting atmosphere that balances sophistication with warmth, making it a standout dining destination in the area.

In this dynamic environment, Delaware North is seeking a full-time Dining Room Supervisor for Paseo. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast-paced settings and who are passionate about delivering superior service to guests. The Dining Room Supervisor position offers a competitive pay rate of $25.00 to $27.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of this leadership role in maintaining the restaurant's high standards.

As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the dining area operates smoothly and efficiently while upholding all departmental and organizational policies. Your responsibilities will include supervising hourly team members, maintaining a clean and safe environment, assisting with staff training and development, and supporting managers in managing staffing levels according to budgetary goals. You will be the frontline presence ensuring guests' needs are met promptly and that the venue is optimally stocked with necessary products and supplies.

This role demands strong interpersonal skills, as you will often engage with guests to resolve complaints using active listening, fostering goodwill and enhancing the overall dining experience. Basic math and computer skills are required to handle daily operational tasks effectively. Physical stamina is important as well, given the need to be on your feet throughout shifts and the occasional requirement to lift or carry items up to 50 pounds.

Delaware North offers comprehensive benefits that support both personal and professional growth. Along with weekly pay, team members enjoy training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible work schedules. Eligible employees can also access health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company matching, paid vacation and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or professional certification reimbursements. These benefits underscore Delaware North's commitment to the well-being and development of its employees.

Working at Paseo under the Delaware North umbrella means being part of a larger legacy dedicated to shaping the future of hospitality worldwide. With opportunities spanning various sectors and locations, employees can find unique career paths that align with their aspirations. This role not only offers a stable and rewarding job but also a chance to contribute to a premier dining experience in an iconic and culturally rich venue.
