As a company that has been certified as a Great Place To Work for seven consecutive years, Legend Senior Living emphasizes a positive work culture and employee satisfaction. Their commitment to excellence extends to both their care for residents and their approach to employee well-being, which is reflected in their comprehensive benefits and supportive workplace policies. The company operates in the hospitality sector, specifically focusing on senior care with an emphasis on community and quality of life. This role is full-time, and potential associates are offered competitive benefits that include medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as company-paid life insurance and voluntary benefits such as accident and critical illness insurance. Moreover, employees enjoy participation in a 401(k) plan with company match and competitive paid time off, highlighting Legend Senior Living's commitment to the long-term health and financial security of their team members.

The position of Dining Room Supervisor at Legend Senior Living presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and dining service management. The Dining Room Supervisor plays a crucial role in enhancing the Gold Leaf Dining experience, a hallmark of Legend’s commitment to providing an exceptional dining atmosphere paired with high-quality food. The primary responsibility of the Dining Room Supervisor is to oversee dining room operations, ensuring that residents receive efficient, courteous, and attentive service. This role involves directly supervising all dining staff, managing table and section assignments, and ensuring there is adequate staff coverage for meal service times.

In addition to supervisory duties, the Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for training staff on the standards of service that Legend Senior Living upholds, focusing on promptness, efficiency, and courtesy. Maintaining the cleanliness and proper setup of the dining environment is also a key component of the role, encompassing everything from the arrangement of tables and chairs to the upkeep of floors and service areas. The supervisor acts as a liaison between residents and the kitchen by communicating special requests, meal concerns, or any other feedback to ensure the highest quality dining experience is maintained.

This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in the food service or hospitality industry and those who possess strong leadership skills. Opportunities for employee recognition, such as bonuses for referrals and being named employee of the month or year, demonstrate Legend’s dedication to rewarding outstanding performance. Furthermore, the role may require evening and weekend work, reinforcing the need for flexible availability. Legend Senior Living is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace, and drug screening may be part of the hiring process. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to join a team where they can make a meaningful difference in the lives of senior residents through quality dining service management.
