Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company operating over 60 communities nationwide, dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for seniors. As a leader in the senior living industry, RLC is committed to fostering a close-knit, servant-hearted community guided by core values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. These values not only define the company culture but also drive the commitment to creating environments where both employees and residents thrive. RLC's mission is encapsulated by four essential goals: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. These goals guide every aspect of their operations, emphasizing the importance of a fulfilling work environment and superior resident satisfaction.

The Dining Room Supervisor role at Resort Lifestyle Communities is a critical leadership position focused on enhancing the dining experience for residents and guests. This role is more than overseeing meal service; it embodies the spirit of hospitality and connection that transforms dining into meaningful moments. As an active lead server during meal periods, the Dining Room Supervisor plays a pivotal role in setting the tone for a welcoming and well-organized dining atmosphere. As a valued member of the community leadership team, this position involves collaborating with Community Managers and Executive Chefs to ensure seamless operations and uphold the highest standards of service. Flexibility is key in this role, with a primary schedule from Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and additional hours required to support events and holidays. The supervisor will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching servers, ensuring their schedules align with the RLC Labor Model and supporting the development and growth of the server team.

Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational consistency in the dining areas, including the Chef’s Pantry and Bistro, is an essential responsibility. The supervisor will also monitor and lead dining service quality to guarantee resident and guest satisfaction while participating in community leadership meetings to address resident needs and plan events. This role requires foundational skills in Microsoft Office, ServSafe Manager food safety certification (or obtaining it within 90 days of hire), and a Food Handlers permit as required by local ordinances. Employees in this role benefit from competitive compensation, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer match, access to pay anytime, and a benefit stipend that can be applied towards various health and insurance options. Joining RLC means entering a supportive leadership environment within a beautiful, resort-style community where making a positive impact every day is both valued and expected.
