Job Description

Legend Senior Living is a renowned provider of senior housing and care, committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents through exceptional service and comfortable living environments. Recognized as a certified Great Place To Work for seven consecutive years, Legend Senior Living emphasizes a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The organization prides itself on delivering an exceptional Gold Leaf Dining experience designed to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere complemented by high-quality food service. As a leader in senior living, Legend Senior Living combines compassionate care with professional hospitality to create an enriching community for its residents.

The Dining Room Supervisor role at Legend Senior Living is a pivotal position within the culinary team, directly contributing to the overall dining experience and satisfaction of the residents. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food service and hospitality, who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy leading teams. As Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating dining room operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. You will oversee staff scheduling and coverage, manage table settings, stock and cleanliness standards, and address special dietary requests and meal concerns. Your leadership will influence the effectiveness of the dining staff, helping them maintain the highest standards of prompt, courteous, and efficient service in line with Gold Leaf Dining practices.

Moreover, this full-time role offers a competitive benefits package that underscores Legend Senior Living’s commitment to employee well-being and professional growth. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for eligible associates, company-paid life insurance, voluntary insurance options like hospital indemnity, accident, and critical illness, as well as a 401(k) plan with company matching. Paid time off and holiday pay further enhance work-life balance, while educational scholarships and performance evaluations with raises demonstrate the company’s investment in long-term career development. Bonus opportunities such as employee referrals, recognition awards, and resident tour incentives provide additional avenues for rewards and engagement.

In this role, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact every day by ensuring that the dining experience is pleasant, welcoming, and accommodating. You will coordinate closely with kitchen staff and other departments to relay resident feedback and special needs, reinforcing a culture of personalized service. This position also requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed, reflecting the organization’s commitment to continuous resident care. If you have at least one year of experience in food service or hospitality, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably supervisory experience within dining or restaurant settings, this is an exceptional opportunity to grow your career with a respected leader in senior living hospitality.
