A key part of the role involves training, evaluating, and counseling service staff in accordance with community personnel policies while promoting their professional development. Daily duties also include conducting pre-meal briefings for service staff to uphold departmental standards and circulating in dining areas during meal times to respond swiftly to resident and guest feedback regarding food quality and service.

Weekly meetings with service personnel and participation in Resident Dining Committee meetings serve as platforms to ensure consistent communication and quality improvements. The Dining Room Supervisor is accountable for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dining room facilities, including tables and chairs, and managing table-top and menu requirements in coordination with the Food Service Director. Additionally, the role includes preparation of weekly work schedules for all service personnel to ensure optimal staffing and operational efficiency.

This position offers same day pay, which reflects our commitment to supporting our employees promptly. While ServSafe certification is preferred, it is expected that the successful candidate will achieve this certification within one year of employment if not already certified.
